This was a great find as a Kindle freebie, and I finally got around to reading it. Throughout the book, I got a comic vibe from it, and as a comic fan, I enjoyed that a lot. It might not be as fun for other people, but it really worked for me. The stratification of vampires, humans, and werewolves is an interesting idea, and I had no trouble visualizing this world where all-out inter-species war was a recent event and seemed on the verge of beginning again.The romance was a bit weak for me. I just didn't get much of a feeling for the hero. Fleur seemed to have so much more at stake for most of the story.
